Procurement Specialist

Location: Balboa, California, United States; onsite five days per week

Salary: $112,704–$169,056 per year

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day and strategic relationships with complex and strategic suppliers.
• Place and maintain purchase orders, communicate demand and forecasts, and resolve supplier issues.
• Evaluate and improve supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, lead time, and project support.
• Drive cost reduction through cost modeling, total-cost-of-ownership analysis, and commercial strategy development.
• Lead negotiations and execute and maintain contracts, including NDAs, general purchase agreements, PSAs, and JDAs.
• Support new product introduction, global strategic sourcing, supplier selection, capacity planning, and cross-functional improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of experience.
• Commercial experience in supplier management and contract negotiation.
• Experience with ERP software and proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
• Fluent business English in written and oral communication.
• Availability to work onsite in the office five days per week.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• Supply chain certification from APICS, IIPMR, ISCEA, ISM, or a similar professional institution.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
