What you will do

  • Lead the design and delivery of complex mission critical and data centre projects across Australia and the broader region.
  • Provide technical oversight, assurance, design leadership, and quality management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resolve technical challenges involving power distribution, resilience, system integration, and energy efficiency.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage project delivery, programme, performance, resources, and financials.
  • Build client and stakeholder relationships and support proposals, tenders, and technical presentations.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to the growth of the Melbourne electrical practice and national electrical team.

Requirements

  • Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Significant building services consulting experience and a strong record of delivering complex electrical projects through all design stages.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with HV and LV power distribution, load assessments, fault studies, and coordination studies.
  • Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, PowerCad, Revit, or similar platforms.

Nice to have

  • Experience delivering mission critical and data centre projects.
  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management.
