Electrical Engineer (Infrastructure)

Location: Perth, Western Australia, Australia; occasional site visits during design, construction, and commissioning

What you will do

• Assist with electrical designs for LV and MV power systems.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, layouts, general arrangements, and cable schedules.
• Perform maximum-demand calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection under senior engineer supervision.
• Develop design reports, scopes of work, equipment schedules, and drawing registers.
• Coordinate drafting and collaborate with multidisciplinary internal and external project teams.
• Attend occasional site visits during design, construction, and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Two to three years or more of electrical engineering experience is advantageous, particularly in transport, infrastructure, or resources.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to continuous professional growth.
• Australian Citizenship is preferred, with the ability to obtain Defence clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with AGi32, PowerCAD, and AutoCAD.
• Experience in transport, infrastructure, or resources sectors.
