What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for medium-sized, complex projects across healthcare, commercial, laboratory, sports, industrial, and precinct-scale infrastructure sectors.
• Undertake autonomous system-level electrical design and ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, and other building services disciplines.
• Act as Project Lead, managing scope, program, budget, quality, and resourcing.
• Build relationships with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders while contributing to proposals and business development.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, support design reviews, and improve technical standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Approximately 8 years of experience designing electrical systems in the building services industry.
• Experience delivering system-level electrical designs and managing medium-sized, complex projects independently.
• Bachelor’s degree recognized under the Australian Qualifications Framework, with qualifications and experience supporting design certification sign-off such as CPEng/NER and BLA PE.
• Direct experience with Revit and producing coordinated, high-quality design documentation.
• Working knowledge of energy modelling and electrical calculation tools including PowerCAD and AGi32.
• Strong communication, multidisciplinary coordination, delegation, mentoring, and commercial awareness skills.
