Project Interior Designer - Healthcare (Healthcare)

Location: Fort Worth, United States; occasional travel outside the Fort Worth area and possible co/location may be required.

What you will do

• Collaborate across programming, conceptual and schematic design, documentation, and construction administration for healthcare projects.
• Develop interior concepts, finish plans, specifications, material selections, furniture, fixtures, equipment, color palettes, and lighting solutions.
• Generate renderings and visual presentations and lead design presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate design development, construction documents, furnishings, purchases, RFIs, submittals, vendors, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Advise healthcare clients on facility finish best practices and coordinate with the national healthcare practice to improve design quality.
• Mentor junior interior designers and support business development, proposals, and repeat-client opportunities.

Requirements

• Degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant interior design experience, including healthcare interior design.
• Experience with SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and 3D modeling tools.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, sustainable design principles, and evidence-based design.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaborative teamwork skills.
• Portfolio and resume required with the application.

Nice to have

• Professional certification or registration such as NCIDQ, CHID, or LEED.
