Technical Recruiter (Engineering)

Location: Remote, but candidates must be based in the Miami area and available to participate in local recruiting, networking, and community events as needed.

Base salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, plus equity incentive eligibility and competitive benefits.

What you will do

• Recruit for technical roles across Engineering and other growing areas, supporting candidates throughout the full recruiting process.
• Source and engage engineering talent through LinkedIn, referrals, networking, events, and other channels.
• Partner with hiring managers and interviewers to define hiring needs, target profiles, and search priorities.
• Conduct initial candidate conversations and create a high-touch experience through clear communication and follow-up.
• Build engineering talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Attend and help develop Miami technology, engineering, recruiting, and networking events while contributing to recruiting projects, process improvements, and employer branding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, or a related field.
• Experience supporting technical or engineering hiring, sourcing candidates, and building talent pipelines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring managers.
• Strong organization and attention to detail when managing multiple searches and priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take ownership, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be based in the Miami area and interested in building relationships within the local technology community.

Nice to have

• Technical recruiting experience at a startup or high-growth technology company.
• Experience with recruiting events, meetups, university programs, or talent community initiatives.
• Familiarity with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar recruiting tools.
• Existing network or familiarity with the Miami startup and technology ecosystem.
• Track record of taking initiative and improving recruiting processes.
