Technical Recruiter (Deep-Tech)

Location: Hybrid, based out of the Torrance, California office 2–3 days per week. Candidates must reside near Torrance or be willing to relocate to the area.

Salary: $125,000–$165,000 per year, plus equity incentives and benefits.

AndrenaM builds sonar and sensing systems for maritime autonomy and defense, developing technology across physics, perception, hardware, software, and product.

What you will do

• Run full-cycle searches from sourcing through offer close across hardware, software, AI/ML, and technical or generalist roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define roles, write job descriptions, and design effective interview processes.
• Build top-of-funnel pipelines for hard-to-fill technical searches through sourcing, events, referrals, and creative channels.
• Deliver a strong candidate experience from outreach through offer close and represent AndrenaM clearly to candidates.
• Support recruiting infrastructure, including ATS hygiene, scorecards, candidate tracking, and calibration loops.
• Track funnel conversion, time-to-fill, offer acceptance, employer-brand activity, and other hiring metrics.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a technology focus.
• Direct recruiting experience in defense, aerospace, hardware, robotics, or closely adjacent deep-tech.
• Experience at an early-stage startup, preferably Series B or earlier, building recruiting pipelines and processes from scratch.
• Strong record of closing hard-to-fill technical searches, including compensation negotiation.
• Excellent sourcing, candidate assessment, communication, organization, and self-direction skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required export authorizations without sponsorship.
