Recruiter (Technical Recruiting)

Location: Fully remote within UTC-8 to UTC0 time zones; occasional travel for team offsites, conferences, and meetups.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Build and execute a talent community strategy to attract high-caliber candidates.
• Source candidates proactively and increase talent density across hiring pipelines.
• Own the full-cycle recruiting process from applications and screens through offers.
• Improve recruiting infrastructure, including scoring rubrics, interview plans, and communication systems.
• Increase talent brand awareness through social media, team engagement, and community events.
• Partner with the Chief of Staff, founders, and the wider team to create a positive candidate experience.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in technical recruiting, or technical experience followed by a transition into recruiting.
• At least 2 years of in-house recruiting experience in a scaling startup environment.
• Ability to create unique sourcing strategies tailored to each role.
• Active understanding of engineering culture and developer communities.
• Strong focus on candidate experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience at developer tooling or software infrastructure companies.
• Active participation in startup or engineering communities.
• Understanding of scaling a company from 50 to 100+ employees while maintaining strong values and culture.
