Facility Engineer

Location: Taoyuan City, Taiwan; onsite facility work

hirify.global operates the site where facility and production equipment, buildings, and automated warehouse systems are maintained.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and replace facility and production equipment.
• Perform electrical control and mechanical repairs on conveyors, forklifts, and automated warehouse equipment.
• Maintain electrical equipment, switches, lighting, fixtures, wiring, and conduit.
• Complete HVAC documentation, log books, maintenance schedules, and required records.
• Perform building maintenance, including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and repairs at heights or in inclement weather.
• Identify process improvements and coordinate maintenance activities with management, external contacts, and other departments.

Requirements

• At least eight years of related work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of facility maintenance practices and procedures.
• Ability to independently resolve complex maintenance problems and recommend improvements.
• Power Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, use ladders, wear PPE, and work at heights exceeding 15 feet; a journey-level license may be required.
