Workday Benefits Consultant (Workday)

Location: Chicago, United States; travel up to 50% when requested by the client

Base salary: $95,000–$130,000 per year; eligible for annual incentive compensation, with total estimated compensation of $106,400–$149,500

What you will do

• Deliver project workstreams using hirify.global tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Support the selection, planning, and implementation of enterprise software and analytics solutions.
• Manage work plans, analytics, reporting, and client presentations.
• Collaborate with client staff and senior leadership while building trusted relationships.
• Manage and mentor junior hirify.global staff and contribute to their professional development.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience using Workday, PeopleSoft, Lawson/Infor, or SAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Participation in at least one Workday Benefits implementation.
• Strong communication, analytical, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects of different scales and durations.
• Ability to travel up to 50% when requested by the client.

Nice to have

• Workday HCM and Benefits certifications.
• Experience supporting a Workday implementation at a Workday partner firm or as a client-side project resource.
• Experience as a Workday Benefits Administrator.
• Experience establishing credibility with senior university and hospital executives.
• Ability to train staff in project-management and technical areas.
