Senior Project Manager (Energy)

Location: Sweden, hybrid; ability to visit the Stockholm office 2–3 days per week required

What you will do

• Establish and further develop Lean Portfolio Management as an organizational working method.
• Design structures for strategic prioritization, portfolio governance, and value-stream-based follow-up.
• Connect strategic goals, initiatives, funding, capacity, and execution.
• Facilitate portfolio forums, prioritization meetings, workshops, and executive decision-making processes.
• Support portfolio backlogs, Epic management, roadmaps, and investment cases.
• Develop KPIs, reporting, and visualizations while improving capacity, dependency, risk, and resource management.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Strong experience in Lean Portfolio Management, preferably with SAFe or an equivalent framework.
• Understanding of agile, hybrid, and traditional governance models.
• Experience with strategic prioritization, portfolio backlogs, Epic management, roadmaps, investment decisions, and management reporting.
• Ability to translate strategic goals into initiatives, decision-making materials, and follow-up structures.
• English at upper-intermediate level or higher and advanced Swedish required.

Nice to have

• Experience in energy, infrastructure, electricity distribution, or other critical infrastructure sectors.
• Certification or training in SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, Agile Leadership, PMI, IPMA, or an equivalent discipline.
• Knowledge of benefits realization, value management, and financial investment tracking.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar portfolio and reporting platforms.
