Regional Manager – Substation

Location: Uniontown, Ohio, United States; travel within the region is required

What you will do

• Lead regional substation EPC and construction projects, including greenfield, brownfield, BESS, renewable energy, and industrial power facilities.
• Manage regional programs and project portfolios against safety, quality, schedule, budget, and profitability objectives.
• Plan resources, oversee field operations, visit project sites, and assume direct project management responsibilities when needed.
• Lead regional personnel, develop Project Managers and Superintendents, and support hiring, coaching, training, and performance management.
• Build customer relationships, support business development, manage RFPs, and represent the business at industry and customer events.
• Manage forecasts, cash flow, risk mitigation, change management, contractual compliance, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field plus 10+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in substation construction, EPC delivery, or power infrastructure operations.
• Proven success managing large-scale projects, programs, and regional portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of substation construction methods, sequencing, and risk management, with financial experience in profitability, forecasting, budgets, and resource planning.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop teams and customer relationships.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and willingness to travel as required within the region.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with project controls, job cost tracking, and estimating software.
• PMP, PE, or another advanced industry certification.
