Engineering Manager (Civil Engineering)

Location: Juneau, Alaska, USA; nationwide travel may be required. Relocation assistance may be available.

What you will do

• Build and manage relationships with strategic partners and public and private-sector customers.
• Develop project pipelines and identify opportunities in existing and new markets.
• Lead Facilities engineering design and project management through successful delivery.
• Coordinate joint pursuits and cross-selling with other internal market sectors.
• Mentor team members in technical skills and professional development.
• Support proposals, presentations, professional organizations, and trade shows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, or structural engineering, or a related discipline, from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineering license in the relevant area of expertise.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible engineering experience.
• Strong team leadership, coordination, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; the role requires operating a company or personal vehicle for business travel.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects while overseeing one or more teams.
