Substation Engineering Manager

Location: South Carolina, United States; may be based out of offices in Fort Mill, Columbia, Charleston, or Greenville

What you will do

• Support operations of a production section, including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing support.
• Assist with project production and may serve as an Assistant Project Manager.
• Coordinate technical services with other sections and support administrative responsibilities for section staff.
• Participate in marketing planning, proposals, interviews, and client-facing activities.
• Plan, organize, monitor, and evaluate work through proactive project management practices.
• Support the selection, training, development, and management of technical personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of professional experience.
• Professional registration, license, or certification may be required depending on the role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills, with commitment to an employee-owned culture.
