Virtual Construction - On - Site - BIM Coordinator & Engineer

Location: Houston, TX; full-time, on-site at an active HITT project. The assignment is dedicated to a single project for its duration.

What you will do

• Lead jobsite BIM coordination aligned with construction sequencing and installation priorities.
• Develop and maintain federated models combining architectural, structural, MEP, and specialty contractor scopes.
• Run clash detection and resolution workflows focused on constructability and field execution.
• Collaborate with superintendents, field engineers, and trade partners; facilitate coordination meetings and support RFIs and design clarifications.
• Execute reality-capture workflows, compare installed conditions with coordinated models, and integrate scan data into as-built documentation.
• Support installation studies, temporary works coordination, 4D sequencing, site logistics, and complex work-area planning.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of commercial construction experience, including at least 2 years in BIM/VDC.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
• Solid understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, and field operations.
• Experience working directly with superintendents and trade partners.
• Ability to work full-time in an active jobsite environment in Houston, TX.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate digital information into field-ready solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience in field-embedded or project-dedicated Virtual Construction roles.
• Reality capture, scan-to-model, or 4D scheduling experience with Synchro Pro, CM Builder, or similar tools.
• Experience on large-scale or technically complex projects such as data centers, healthcare, aviation, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience mentoring junior team members or using NVIDIA Omniverse or similar real-time 3D collaboration platforms.
