Air Export Gateway Agent (Logistics)

Location: Farmingdale, New York, USA; onsite at 120 Adams Blvd

Salary: $48,000–$51,000 per year

What you will do

• Process air export gateway consolidations, including receiving cargo, planning and booking shipments, preparing consolidation paperwork, transferring cargo to carriers, and tracking arrivals.
• Coordinate airport transfers and pickups with local trucking vendors and maintain communication with warehouse staff.
• Manage consolidation capacity through posted schedules and additional space bookings.
• Maintain quality, compliance, data integrity, and daily updates in Gateway Workflow and Transportation Management tools.
• Monitor billing details to ensure vendor invoices are paid accurately and on time.
• Identify process issues, analyze trends, and improve service provider partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Customer service, interpersonal, teamwork, self-motivation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of operational issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and standard email programs.
• Ability to work the required schedule, including Saturday shifts.
