Space PA/QA Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Plan and monitor qualification, verification, validation, and acceptance activities against project and customer requirements.
• Support the selection, qualification, approval, and control of materials, mechanical parts, and manufacturing processes under ECSS standards.
• Review engineering designs, CAD models, technical drawings, inspection plans, and GD&T applications for manufacturing and quality compliance.
• Support manufacturing readiness, industrialization, process qualification, production transfer, and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly activities.
• Facilitate FMEA, project risk management, lifecycle gates, design changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct internal and supplier audits, manage non-conformances and root-cause analysis, and maintain PA/QA documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in Product Assurance, Quality Assurance, MMPP, or a comparable engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing, assembly, integration, inspection, or testing in aerospace, space, or another high-technology industry.
• Solid understanding of ECSS standards; knowledge of AS9100 is an asset.
• Knowledge of configuration management, change control, and product lifecycle management.
• Fluent English and eligibility to work in the EU are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with aerospace composite and metallic materials, manufacturing technologies, or special processes.
• Experience with AS9100.
