Electrical Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Own and improve electrical system design methodologies across in-space propulsion products.
• Develop standard architectures, reusable design approaches, engineering tools, and scalable development processes.
• Manage requirements, verification, documentation, configuration control, interfaces, and related engineering workflows.
• Work with customers to translate technical needs into system requirements, specifications, verification plans, and test procedures.
• Collaborate with R&D teams throughout propulsion product development.
• Investigate system anomalies and non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in electrical systems engineering, systems engineering, systems integration, or a related role in aerospace, defence, or another high-reliability industry.
• Experience developing system architectures, electrical system documentation, or engineering design processes.
• Understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements management, verification, and validation.
• Experience working directly with customers or end users as a technical point of contact.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to work in multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ECSS standards, compliance assessment, and verification.
• Experience developing engineering tools, automation, or productivity-focused workflows.
• Experience with structured documentation, configuration management, and engineering change processes.
• Background in spacecraft, launch vehicles, or other safety-critical systems.
• Experience with MBSE, SysML, or similar systems engineering tools.
