Imaging Operator 2 (Days) - BCS

Location: St Charles, IL; Wallace Ave, BCS. Onsite B Shift: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Compensation: $21.21–$28.65 per hour, plus applicable shift differential.

What you will do

• Operate high-resolution, variable-print imaging equipment.
• Program, prepare, set up, and release jobs from the print queue.
• Adjust image position, color, resolution, perforations, and folds to meet specifications.
• Monitor print output for correctness and image quality.
• Maintain production logs and delivery manifests, and order required supplies.
• Instruct junior operators and help train employees as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of digital print or inkjet equipment setup, adjustment, and operating procedures.
• Ability to diagnose and correct operating problems affecting product quality and timeliness.
• Knowledge of color theory and experience making color corrections.
• Knowledge of file manipulation and digital print file formats.
• Ability to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing, and in-line finishing according to job specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for 4–6 hours, stand or walk for 6–7 hours, and bend or stoop for 2–3 hours.
