Program Management Intern (Automotive)

Automotive manufacturing company supporting vehicle programs and driveline solutions for OEM customers.

What you will do

• Assist with program management projects for the Light Vehicle Driveline team.
• Support cross-functional communication around project timing charts and schedules.
• Coordinate with operations, quality, and engineering teams throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
• Track resource assignments, escalate deficiencies, and act as a stakeholder contact for customer program inquiries.
• Identify program risks, develop contingency plans, publish meeting minutes and tasks, and follow up on open issues.
• Present project results, learnings, and improvement suggestions to leadership at the end of the 10-week internship.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Sales, Engineering, or Business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, listening, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Self-directed, motivated, organized, and able to interact effectively with people at all levels.
• Willingness to travel when necessary.

• Previous automotive industry or hirify.global co-op experience.
• Strong interest in program management.
