Senior Scheduler (Civil Engineering)

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, with approximately 90% travel to client project sites within North Carolina. Work from home is permitted up to two days per month.

What you will do

• Plan, develop, and coordinate CPM schedules across planning, design, construction, and project close-out phases.
• Prepare the Basis of Schedule, work breakdown structures, scheduling activities, logic relationships, durations, milestones, constraints, and critical-path reports.
• Perform bottom-up resource and cost loading using production rates, and support earned value management.
• Review contractor baseline schedules, monthly progress updates, and change-order requests for schedule impacts.
• Report contractor progress using earned value metrics and recommend actions to mitigate schedule slippage.
• Conduct field visits to client and project sites to collect scheduling data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• At least five years of progressive experience in the offered position.
• Extensive experience with P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management software, Microsoft Project, Visio, and Procore.
• Must be authorized to accept permanent employment in the United States with any employer.
• Availability for approximately 90% travel to project sites within North Carolina.
