Manager, Business Process Management (Lending)

Location: Newport Beach, California, United States

Salary: $131,905–$224,135 USD per year, plus potential discretionary bonus and equity component.

What you will do

• Support lending relationship managers and improve loan processing efficiency and client experience.
• Coordinate loan onboarding, credit documentation, deal implementation, and ongoing portfolio support.
• Manage loan pipelines, deal status tracking, documentation, reporting, covenant tracking, and exceptions.
• Coordinate with Relationship Management, Credit, Portfolio Management, Operations, and Risk teams.
• Ensure compliance with lending policies, credit standards, regulatory requirements, audit readiness, and risk controls.
• Lead performance management, career development, staffing input, and hands-on training for lending support staff.

Requirements

• Extensive functional and industry knowledge of lending products, credit processes, and loan servicing operations.
• Strong understanding of lending risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for working with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Leadership and organizational skills to set business unit goals, assess resource needs, and develop team capabilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship.
