Operations Strategy Execution Manager (Mortgage Operations)

Location: Westlake Village, California, United States

Salary: $92,450–$114,000 per year, with potential annual bonus or incentives.

What you will do

• Assess current operational processes and map end-to-end workflows, including source documents, field sources, alerts, business rules, and role impacts.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce cycle times, and improve ILQA and quality control outcomes.
• Coordinate application release impacts with the Training team and support the creation of job aids.
• Improve the user experience in Encompass and implement permanent fixes for operational workarounds.
• Identify and evaluate automation opportunities involving AI, robotics, and machine learning, including vendor assessment.
• Identify process risks, support reporting for management, manage vendors, and liaise between Operations and BSA/BI.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in process analysis, process ownership, or a similar field.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage products and operations, including correspondent or retail lending.
• Entry-level knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations, including HMDA, CFPB, and TRID requirements.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Excel VBA, and Encompass mortgage software.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
