Business Process Excellence Lead, Third Party Risk Management

Location: Austin, TX, United States. Travel required up to 10% of the time; relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $108,000–$148,500 per year, with potential bonus and stock award eligibility.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end process architecture, design standards, taxonomy, documentation, and governance for Third Party Risk Management and its integration with Contracting.
• Design and optimize risk-appropriate, audit-ready controls, reducing cycle time, manual effort, rework, and low-value activities.
• Use process mining, performance metrics, and improvement backlogs to prioritize measurable process enhancements.
• Translate optimized processes into business requirements for technology, automation, and AI investments.
• Prototype process solutions with no-code, low-code, or AI-powered tools and ensure production solutions match the intended process behavior.
• Partner with Legal and Contract Management on risk-related clauses, hand-offs, obligation tracking, and post-signature risk coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of process excellence, business process management, or equivalent experience, including process design and control optimization.
• Experience owning process architecture and optimizing controls in complex or regulated environments.
• Hands-on process mining experience with tools such as Celonis, Signavio, SAP Process Intelligence, or Power Automate Process Mining.
• Ability to design capabilities or operating models from concept through enterprise adoption and lead through influence in a matrixed environment.
• Strong executive communication skills and data literacy, including the ability to use process performance metrics for prioritization.

Nice to have

• Experience in procurement, Third Party Risk Management, risk management, compliance, or supply chain processes.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and third-party risk platforms.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent process discipline credential.
• Experience with RPA, workflow automation, integrations, AI-powered solutions, or no-code and low-code tools.
