Group Manager, Maintenance Plant Operations

What you will do

• Lead plant maintenance, reliability, asset stewardship, uptime, service responsiveness, and cost performance.
• Establish preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies, governance, service standards, and asset care practices.
• Own the enterprise strategy for maintenance training, skilled trades development, apprenticeships, competency standards, and certification programs.
• Lead reliability improvements, root cause analysis, shutdown planning, spare parts strategies, and corrective actions for equipment failures.
• Partner with plant, operations, engineering, quality, EH&S, supply chain, finance, and external service providers.
• Manage maintenance budgets, resource deployment, contractor governance, repair priorities, and selected capital or infrastructure actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Operations, or a related technical field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive maintenance, engineering, reliability, or plant operations experience in manufacturing, including multi-shift leadership.
• 5+ years of experience leading maintenance managers, supervisors, planners, technicians, or other technical teams.
• Experience developing technical training, apprenticeship, workforce development, or skilled trades talent pipeline programs.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, reliability methodologies, root cause analysis, planning, and scheduling.
• Ability to interpret maintenance and reliability data, manage contractors, coach technical teams, and collaborate cross-functionally.
