Manufacturing Technician II (Night Shift)

Location: Austin, TX; based at the Burnet facility. Onsite night shift, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, following a 3-2-2 schedule once fully trained and certified.

What you will do

• Disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot canisters and containers in a hazardous chemical environment.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures while identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, quality, and safety teams to meet production and customer requirements.
• Identify solutions to manufacturing problems and share improvement ideas with the team.
• Work safely and accurately while handling hazardous materials and wearing required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with mechanical or technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office; SAP and PLC experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift or move up to 51 pounds daily and attain respirator certification.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment.
• SAP or PLC experience.
