Manufacturing Technician II (Nights) (Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, Texas, based at the Burnet facility; onsite night shift

What you will do

• Disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot canisters and containers in a hazardous chemical environment.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures while identifying process and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, quality, and safety teams to meet production and customer requirements.
• Maintain strong accountability, integrity, safety awareness, and attention to quality.
• Identify solutions, share improvement ideas, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Work a 3-2-2 night shift from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. after completing training and certification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; mechanical or technical experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals is strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift or move up to 51 pounds daily and perform visual inspections.
• Ability to handle highly hazardous materials responsibly while wearing required PPE and obtain respirator certification.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office; SAP and PLC experience are a plus.
• Dependability and flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment.
• Experience with SAP or PLC systems.
