JLG, an Oshkosh company, develops access equipment such as mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles, and accessories for the construction industry.

What you will do

• Wipe, sand, plug, mask, and inspect parts before and during the painting process.
• Remove excess water and debris from part cavities and prepare components for paint repair.
• Hang parts for painting using overhead hoists.
• Inspect finished parts and help identify root causes of paint defects.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or tuggers when needed.
• Label, stock, and record inventory while maintaining a clean and safe work area under 6S standards.

Requirements

• Regular and reliable in-person attendance is required.
• Availability to work overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift or carry up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull materials, bend, kneel, climb, and use workplace tools and equipment.
• Required personal protective equipment must be worn; visual and auditory acuity are needed for safe equipment operation.

Nice to have

• Forklift certification.
• Tugger or tractor certification.
• Telescopic Material Handler License.
