Sr. Painter

Location: Springtown, Texas, United States; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Prime, paint, touch up, and apply coatings to vehicles and company products using electrostatic and air-assist spray equipment, brushes, and automotive painting tools.
• Mix paints and chemicals to meet required colors, formulas, viscosity, and consistency, including military-spec coatings.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, adjust, and reassemble pumps, heaters, tanks, spray guns, hoses, and related painting equipment.
• Apply decals, stencils, rust-proofing, and surface treatments; sand, wash, condition parts, and perform light bodywork as needed.
• Inspect parts throughout the paint process and verify that finished components meet quality specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, perform preventive maintenance, and train new team members on painting processes and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or automotive painting.
• Ability to pass the PFT pulmonary function test process.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, reaching, climbing, walking, and repetitive upper-extremity movements.
• Ability to work with dust, temperature extremes, loud noise, toxic substances, and solvents while following safety procedures and 6S standards.
