What you will do

• Wipe, sand, inspect, plug, and mask parts before painting and paint repair.
• Blow excess water and shot from part cavities to support proper paint adhesion.
• Operate overhead hoists to hang parts, as well as forklifts, tuggers, tractors, and other heavy equipment.
• Inspect completed parts against production and quality standards and help identify defects at their point of origin.
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies and follow safety procedures and 6S standards.
• Assist with training employees on paint preparation processes and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience.
• Forklift, tugger, and tractor certifications.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in safely operating pneumatic tools such as sanders.
