Project Manager - Small Projects (Construction)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; full-time, onsite role

What you will do

• Manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budgets, contract pricing, scheduling, procurement, and estimating.
• Negotiate subcontractor bids, material purchases, and subcontract packages.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, superintendents, and project teams to maintain schedule, quality, and contract compliance.
• Develop safety plans with the Superintendent and implement safety procedures.
• Manage, train, and supervise the project team while maintaining accurate reporting and project documentation.
• Complete closeout procedures, warranty follow-up, change-order documentation, and claim mitigation.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory experience.
• Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Drafting and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating, and other project management control systems.
