Junior to Mid Construction Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States; approximately 4–5 days of on-site support required in Los Angeles based on client needs.

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional compensation may include bonuses and 401(k) matching up to 8%.

What you will do

• Support dynamic project managers in executing multi-phased construction projects and managing evolving client expectations.
• Monitor field progress, analyze schedules, and oversee quality control.
• Coordinate design management, contract management, project communications, and project documentation.
• Build relationships with construction teams, client decision-makers, vendors, trade associations, and professional organizations.
• Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, monitoring, and project closeout.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and advocate for the client during disputes, modifications, and change orders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in construction project management with a thorough understanding of building design and construction processes.
• Experience with base building, commercial, cultural, life sciences, corporate fit-out, developer, or site construction projects.
• Degree or associate degree in construction management, business, architecture, civil, structural, or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and growing technical knowledge of major building systems, including MEP and FLS.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project or Primavera P6, Adobe Acrobat or comparable PDF tools, and Procore or an equivalent project management platform.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
