Senior Project Manager (Construction)

Salary: $179,064.64–$204,645.30 per year

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, including scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, pre-construction meetings, and close-out.
• Lead architects, engineers, construction workers, subcontractors, contractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Coordinate communication among school districts, school administrators, local authorities, communities, and project stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, invoices, payment applications, financial reporting, and scope or schedule changes.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, environmental standards, permits, approvals, and onsite safety procedures.
• Monitor construction quality through site visits, inspections, punch lists, documentation, warranties, manuals, and final handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing construction projects, including large-scale and complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, contract management, and school construction grant funding applications and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site development, building codes, safety regulations, risk management, and environmental sustainability.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore or Buildertrend and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP), LEED AP, or similar certification.
