What you will do
- Own the strategy, execution, operational performance, and lifecycle health of an in-service surveillance product family.
- Act as the P&L owner, managing bookings, revenue, gross margin, cash performance, costs, and delivery commitments.
- Lead field performance, customer support, sustainment planning, production support, repairs, and spares activities.
- Drive cross-functional resolution of OEM and in-service issues through containment, corrective action, communication, and closure.
- Manage obsolescence mitigation, redesign priorities, and customer communication across engineering, supply chain, operations, and finance.
- Lead customer reviews and coordinate engineering, quality, finance, contracts, sales, operations, and supply chain on sustaining and upgrade opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technical Management, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive program, product line, or business leadership experience in aerospace, avionics, or a similarly regulated technical industry.
- Experience owning business performance for fielded products, including margin management, customer support, production support, and cross-functional issue resolution.
- Strong financial acumen covering revenue, gross margin, cost management, forecasting, and business cases.
- Executive communication, customer engagement, program planning, risk management, performance monitoring, and recovery execution skills.
- Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization and apply continuous improvement, lifecycle governance, and structured problem-solving methods.
Nice to have
- MBA or an advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or Technical Management.
- Experience with avionics, surveillance systems, or safety-critical aerospace products serving OEM and aftermarket customers.
- Experience in obsolescence management, repair strategy, spares planning, or sustaining engineering.
- PMP or equivalent program management certification.
