Analyst, Investment & Acquisitions or Strategy (Renewable Energy)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Annual base salary: $100,000–$120,000, plus variable compensation and a first-year guaranteed year-end bonus.

What you will do

• Support market strategy, new project origination, and investment decisions across the renewable energy platform.
• Conduct power market research, track industry trends, and analyze electricity market fundamentals across US regions.
• Research renewable energy demand from utilities and corporate customers and maintain competitive intelligence and market benchmarking.
• Build and maintain financial models evaluating project returns, capital structures, investment risks, and value creation opportunities.
• Coordinate third-party due diligence, analyze project documentation, and support acquisitions, debt and tax equity financings, and asset sales.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior professionals to communicate strategic insights and support transaction execution.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree and 0–2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, project finance, corporate finance, consulting, strategy, renewable energy, or a related analytical field.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, preferably using Excel.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear conclusions and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn about renewable energy markets, project finance, and corporate strategy.
