Salary: $71,000–$85,850/year, plus an annual bonus.

What you will do

  • Support project and platform acquisitions and divestitures for utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage assets.
  • Perform development, commercial, technical, financial, and legal due diligence, including data validation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and support negotiations, transaction execution, and post-closing activities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, investment committees, and other stakeholders.
  • Review valuation models, including discounted cash flow and earnings models, and assess transaction risks and strategic impacts.
  • Manage deal documentation, timelines, market research, and internal tools for tracking M&A activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or renewable energy subject area.
  • 2–3 years of relevant renewable energy M&A or renewable development experience involving wind, solar, and/or battery energy storage systems.
  • Understanding of clean energy transaction value drivers and risks; familiarity with US regional electricity markets is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced Excel financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate across departments, and manage tight deadlines.
