Associate, Investments (Energy)

Location: hirify.global Place New York, 225 Liberty Street, 8th Floor

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year, plus a short-term cash incentive program.

What you will do

• Build financial models, valuation analyses, and investment materials for transaction evaluation and decision-making.
• Research companies, sectors, and markets to assess investment theses, trends, risks, value drivers, and transaction outcomes.
• Coordinate due diligence workstreams with internal teams, portfolio companies, operating partners, and external advisors.
• Support M&A, project development, strategic partnerships, and other strategic investment opportunities.
• Contribute to post-investment business planning, value creation, and decarbonization initiatives.
• Prepare presentation materials and transaction documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, infrastructure investing, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical, and commercial judgment skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Interest in energy, infrastructure, industrials, and the energy transition; experience in energy, power, infrastructure, industrials, or project finance is an asset.
