What you will do

• Support M&A deal leads in managing work streams for live transactions and coordinating due diligence efforts.
• Conduct market research using internal data and public sources to drive business development and inform recommendations.
• Collaborate with Valuation and Investment teams to review DCF and earnings models for individual projects or businesses.
• Analyze the strategic and financial impacts and risks of prospective M&A transactions and investments.
• Develop and maintain internal tools and processes for tracking all active, inactive, and closed M&A deal activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical or renewable energy subject area.
• Understanding of value drivers and risks in wind, solar, and battery storage transactions.
• Demonstrated analytical experience and intellectual curiosity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for conveying complex matters to diverse team members.
• Proficiency in Excel financial modeling, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must be based in a US state where AES has an office.
