Senior Electronic Technician (Allen-Bradley PLC)

Location: Milwaukee, WI, USA; onsite, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. shift with a rotating 3-days-on/4-days-off and 4-days-on/3-days-off schedule.

Salary: $42.28/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential.

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and industrial control systems.
• Modify and program Allen-Bradley PLCs using RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, and related tools.
• Maintain 24VDC, 120VAC, and 480VAC three-phase systems, motor controls, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, relays, and contactors.
• Install, wire, and test electrical panels and components according to applicable codes and standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, documentation, and PLC or wiring updates.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and safety teams while following Lockout/Tagout and PPE procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of electrical technician experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment; a related degree may substitute for experience.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC systems, RSLogix 5000, and Studio 5000.
• Hands-on knowledge of 24VDC, 120VAC, and 480VAC electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Experience with industrial automation, motor controls, sensors, and VFDs.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and industrial electrical safety skills; familiarity with NFPA 70E and NEC.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
