Industrial Electrician / PLC Programmer (Manufacturing)

Location: Menomonie, Wisconsin, United States; onsite manufacturing facility. Initial training takes place on day shift, followed by a night-shift schedule.

Salary: $36.02–$38.44 per hour plus shift differential, overtime opportunities, quarterly performance bonus potential, and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Read, interpret, and create electrical blueprints, schematics, and circuit layouts.
• Program, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Allen Bradley PLC systems, VFDs, and process control equipment.
• Install and wire motors, switch panels, fuse boxes, power circuits, and related electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and operational problems involving servo motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum systems, sensors, valves, and safety circuits.
• Perform preventive maintenance and collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to reduce downtime.
• Optimize equipment performance while maintaining safe electrical and manufacturing practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and trade school certification.
• 5+ years of experience as an industrial electrician or electrician programmer.
• Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLC hardware and software, including Logix 5, Logix 500, and Studio 5000.
• Experience installing and programming VFDs and working with process controls, sensors, switches, valves, and safety circuits.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC circuits and 440 MCCs.
• Ability to work onsite in Menomonie, Wisconsin and transition to night shift after training.

• HMI programming experience.
• FactoryTalk ME experience.
• Experience troubleshooting automated, high-speed manufacturing equipment.
