KBRA Credit Profile (KCP) - CMBS Analyst (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: Hybrid schedule based out of the Dresher, Pennsylvania office, United States

Annual base salary: $65,000–$75,000

What you will do

• Monitor the credit performance of CMBS transactions, including commercial real estate loan and property performance.
• Analyze CRE property cash flows using borrower and servicer operating statements.
• Value major and distressed collateral assets using DCF, market-based, and direct capitalization approaches.
• Research comparable sales and maintain monthly surveillance across a CMBS portfolio.
• Prepare and present analysis to peers and management and publish transaction reports.
• Contribute to weekly, monthly, and topical research.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in commercial real estate or CMBS preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, or real estate.
• Strong Excel skills and a passion for real estate and analytics.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate closely with partners.
• Knowledge of the CREFC Investor Reporting Package and Trepp is a plus.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and productivity.
