Solutions Architect (Azure)

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, United States (hybrid). The role is based in Alpharetta and includes up to 10% business travel.

What you will do

• Design and build hybrid solutions across Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments.
• Deploy Azure compute, networking, storage, and identity services, including secure VPN and ExpressRoute connectivity.
• Support Azure, VMware, and Hyper-V infrastructure, cloud migrations, modernization, performance, and reliability improvements.
• Implement Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity with AAD Connect, RBAC, MFA, and conditional access.
• Integrate identity services, ERP platforms, enterprise applications, data flows, and Azure services.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments with Terraform, ARM, Bicep, PowerShell, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, VMware or Hyper-V, DNS, routing, and firewalls.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting, Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep, and enterprise applications or ERP systems.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Alpharetta, Georgia, United States, and travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect Associate certification.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, monitoring and observability tools, or ServiceNow and similar ITSM platforms.
