IT Enterprise Architect (Azure/AWS)

Location: Hybrid in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

What you will do

• Define enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, reference architectures, and multi-year cloud transformation roadmaps.
• Lead the Architecture Review Board and Architecture Community of Practice while enforcing governance and technical guardrails.
• Design and review cloud-native solutions across Azure and AWS, including multi-region, high-availability, and disaster-recovery architectures.
• Validate infrastructure and application designs using Terraform, CI/CD, GitOps, automation, observability, and SRE practices.
• Establish API-first, event-driven, platform engineering, data integration, and reusable engineering patterns.
• Embed Zero Trust, identity-first security, data protection, FinOps, and regulatory compliance into architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, software engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
• 2+ years operating as an Enterprise Architect in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Deep Azure and/or AWS architecture expertise, including containers, serverless services, API Management, and application gateways.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD systems, and observability platforms.
• Knowledge of IAM, Zero Trust architecture, logging, monitoring, compliance frameworks, enterprise data platforms, and data governance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field; experience in insurance or financial services is preferred.
