Cloud Solutions Engineer – Azure

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and operate enterprise-grade Azure architectures covering compute, networking, storage, identity, and data services.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates using version control and peer review.
• Configure Azure landing zones, networks, security controls, governance policies, and identity management.
• Architect and operate scalable Azure Kubernetes Service clusters and Azure data and analytics platforms.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, observability practices, disaster-recovery capabilities, and automation tooling.
• Drive cost optimization, lead architecture reviews, collaborate with application, security, and SRE teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of cloud engineering experience, including 3 years focused on Microsoft Azure in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure core services, infrastructure-as-code, AKS, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security, identity management, compliance, monitoring, alerting, and observability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Applicants must be located in the United States and have U.S. work authorization.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
• Hybrid or multi-cloud experience, including Azure and on-premises infrastructure.
• Experience with Istio or Linkerd on AKS, FinOps, or regulated environments such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP.
