Physician Liaison (Oncology)

Location: Grand Rapids, MI, United States; local travel required for approximately 80% of the work week

What you will do

• Build and maintain professional relationships with referring providers and their staff.
• Conduct peer-to-peer outreach, scheduled visits, follow-ups, emails, and phone calls.
• Use Salesforce and OneAnalytics to analyze referral patterns, monitor patient volumes, and support territory planning.
• Document outreach activities and participate in performance reviews, metric analysis, and variance reporting.
• Identify referral workflow barriers and collaborate with internal teams on solutions and care coordination.
• Support educational events, community programs, market insight reporting, and organizational initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience in oncology or healthcare.
• Applicants without a bachelor’s degree may be considered with 4+ additional years of relevant experience, totaling 8 years.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, cooperation, initiative, empathy, and adaptability.
• Proficiency with CRM and market analytics reporting tools, preferably Salesforce.
• Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with marketing and communications; knowledge of oncology and non-oncology infusion treatments is beneficial.
