Engineering Analyst II (Mechanical Simulation)

Location: On-site at hirify.global facilities in Zeeland, Michigan; not eligible for remote work.

What you will do

• Perform simulations and engineering analyses to support product design and development.
• Prepare and run finite element models using established tools and processes.
• Document and communicate simulation results and provide analytical input during design reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret results, recommend design modifications, and support data-driven decisions.
• Maintain simulation databases, ensure data integrity, and contribute to workflow and tool improvements.
• Compare simulation results with physical test data to support test correlation efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with simulation tools such as ANSYS or similar.
• Experience with CAD tools such as CATIA or SolidWorks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment authorization is verified through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting or automation tools such as Python or MATLAB.
• Experience with statistical methods or Design of Experiments.
• Experience with data visualization or reporting tools.
• Familiarity with version control or data management systems such as Git or PLM systems.
• Interest in mentoring junior analysts on simulation best practices.
