Mechanical Engineer (HVACR)

Location: Sidney, Ohio, USA; full-time onsite

What you will do

• Support product development, supplier qualification, and customer failure analysis projects.
• Plan and execute laboratory testing for mechanical components and systems.
• Design test fixtures and experimental setups.
• Analyze test data and provide technical conclusions and recommendations.
• Investigate product performance and durability using mechanical engineering principles.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to engineering stakeholders while improving laboratory methods and capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience, including internships or co-op experience.
• Strong 3D CAD experience with NX, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar software.
• Working knowledge of Strength of Materials and Mechanics of Materials.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and technical data interpretation skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with mechanical testing, engineering laboratories, product development, manufacturing, or design engineering.
• Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition systems, experimental analysis, fatigue, vibration, durability, or failure analysis.
• Experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, Minitab, engineering calculations, statistical analysis, technical report writing, or FEA.
