Ops Supervisor Hauling (Waste Management)

Location: Peabody, Massachusetts, United States; onsite operational role

Salary: $86,400–$118,800 per year; annual incentive plan target of 10%

What you will do

• Supervise collection activities across commercial, residential, roll-off, industrial, and container delivery operations.
• Direct drivers and helpers while implementing operational initiatives with Operations and General Management.
• Lead safety and accident-prevention programs, remove unsafe route conditions, and maintain compliance with operating and regulatory standards.
• Resolve customer issues, missed pickups, equipment breakdowns, and schedule changes.
• Set productivity goals, manage labor and disposal expenses, and optimize routes through service conversions and container upsizing.
• Build employee engagement, coach team members, and develop talent for advancement.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Ability to direct a large staff and build high-performance teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Process-oriented and results-oriented approach to achieving operational goals.
• Collaborative leadership style with sound judgment and ethical behavior.
• Ability to work onsite in Peabody, Massachusetts, United States.
