Location: Field-based role supporting the Orange County territory; candidates must reside in the geography or be willing to relocate to it. Travel, including overnight and weekend travel, is required. Job posting locations include Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Diego, California, United States.

Base pay: $98,000–$157,550 per year.

What you will do

  • Sell current and potential new oncology therapeutics and achieve territory sales quotas.
  • Provide clinical information and support related to product efficacy, health economics, reimbursement, and treatment protocols.
  • Analyze the assigned territory, prospect for new business, and develop account strategies with the District Manager.
  • Identify key accounts and healthcare professionals, build relationships, and influence decision-makers with targeted sales messaging.
  • Prepare customer-specific pre- and post-call plans and execute local marketing strategies using approved materials.
  • Complete required training, compliance activities, expense reporting, call reporting, and other administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Oncology specialty sales experience and/or major hospital account sales experience.
  • At least two years of direct pharmaceutical or biologic/biotech sales experience with documented results, or relevant clinical experience.
  • Experience with hospital and large-account sales, complex reimbursement, and managed-care dynamics.
  • Strong relationship-building, decision-maker identification, achievement motivation, and virtual customer engagement skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to travel as necessary, and residence in or willingness to relocate to the assigned geography.

Nice to have

  • Hematology or rare-disease specialty sales experience.
  • Product launch experience in a highly competitive environment.
  • Multiple myeloma experience.
  • Commitment to learning emerging technologies such as AI.
