Senior NDT Inspector, IND (NDT)

Location: Surrey, British Columbia, Canada; onsite work at client locations is required

What you will do

• Perform visual inspections and nondestructive testing on cast, forged, welded, and machined parts.
• Conduct magnetic particle, ultrasonic, liquid penetrant, and other approved inspection methods.
• Evaluate test results against technical drawings, client specifications, applicable codes, and standards.
• Verify equipment condition and calibration, perform calibration when required, and maintain calibration records.
• Complete onsite client work safely, on time, and in accordance with approved procedures.
• Communicate non-compliance findings to clients and prepare inspection reports, billing sheets, and related documentation.

Requirements

• One or more Natural Resources Canada CGSB Level 2 certificates in magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and/or ultrasonic inspection.
• At least 5 years of direct experience performing inspections and operating UT, PT, and MT equipment.
• College education in a technical field or a high school diploma with significant relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license and at least CSA W178.2 Level 1 visual inspection certification; Level 2 is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in French and English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French; English is an asset.

Nice to have

• Phased Array inspection experience or certification.
• Additional certifications such as CWB, CGSB, NACE, or API.
